2022-Present

Drove conceptual design, R&D, and implementation for habitat and exhibit projects with budgets ranging from thousands to tens of millions of dollars.
Designed and drove innovation for over 1500 square ft of reptile-specific habitat, including life support systems and habitat lighting.
Created habitats, features and enrichment devices for over 100 species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and mammals.
Large Animal Recovery trained, with hands on experience in 10+ medical procedures and live shipments for animals up to 4500lbs.
Lead the development of new manufacturing techniques and materials for animal enrichment devices and habitat elements that support the highest level of welfare.
Introduced 3D printing and CNC to the zoo’s in-house production capabilities. Implemented the zoo’s first 3D printing farm.
Facilities representative for the Animal Welfare Working Group and head of the Research & Innovation subcommittee.
Certified and experienced operator of lifts, MEWPs, lifts, and other heavy machinery.

2017 - 2020

Designed brand experiences, retail installations, fixtures and graphic marketing packages for billion-dollar brands in the outdoor and commercial apparel industry.
Designed brand stores, shop-in-shops, and seasonal pop-ups commonly across the US and Canada, and as far away as the middle east.
Implemented the design, production and distribution of quarterly graphic updates for almost every Arc’teryx brand store in Canada and the United States.
Designed premier, multi-story tradeshow booths for some of the largest brands attending OR, SHOT Show, Marathon pop-ups, and other commercial conventions.
Experienced installer. Travelled to jobsites around North America both solo and as part of an install team, constructing brand stores, brand experience initiatives and trade shows.
Part of a high-volume team, delivering over 150 projects a year.

2012 - 2016

Designed and laid out 6 major coupon booklets for the bookstore and their partner sponsors
Designed graphic assets for over 50 holiday and sales promotions
Managed website banner updates and student union advertising
Assisted with quarterly textbook ordering and distribution for the school’s 14,000 students.

2013 - 2017

Started as a volunteer assistant coach and worked my way to head coach of the junior (teen) program.
Managed a team of 2 coaches and up to 50 regionally competitive high school rowers.
Designed and lead high performance technique and strength training programs for a variety of age, ability and experience level.
I developed team leadership, motivation and communication skills, focusing on small team establishment and optimization.
Coached the first boats in club history to medal at our regional championships.

2021 - 2022

Diverted hundreds of tons of resources, per year, from waste streams and supplied the local community with affordable and unique building materials.
My role included customer service, inventory management, sourcing, pricing and marketing.
Working knowledge of construction and material trends, retail strategy and value-added processing.
Frequently manager on duty during retail operations.

2015 - 2016

Bowman on a set-net tender in the commercial salmon fishery in Cook Inlet, AK.
Worked in a 2-4 person team, setting and clearing seven 212ft nets, with minimal mechanized assistance.
Mastered a variety of knots and marine maintenance techniques and lived largely off-grid for months at a time.
Gained inside experience into one of the most closely managed sockeye fisheries in the world.

2020 - Present

Created construction documents and permitting plans for residential construction projects, during the Covid Pandemic
Designed aquaponic systems and studied regenerative agriculture.
Small carpentry projects from decks to custom furniture.
Product design and limited productions.
Generally, a creative outlet for me to explore concepts and passion projects.
